Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

"For best results please ensure:
-has at least 2.6GB
-is plugged in to a power source
-is connected to the internet"

It should be: >>For best results please ensure that Your computer:<<

I get the same text when installing Natty alpha 1.
I also agree the text should be altered as it is currently not clear what the checklist refers to.

FWIW, in Maverick, the first line is "For best results, please ensure that this computer:" which seems clearer to me. Not sure why it was changed.

Two days ago I made a Polish translation for that string in Natty and it was also OK. Perhaps in Alpha 2 or beta things will be as they shoud.

The text in the UI file and in gtkwidgets.py is only there for developers. The text actually shown in the installer is pulled from debconf, and this bug is a matter of that not happening for the aforementioned strings.

It wouldn't hurt to sync up the UI file text of course, but it wouldn't be a proper fix for this bug (internationalisation).
