Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

In 11.04, sabdfl has asked us to do an asynchronous avahi scan if a network is available, to detect possible hostname collisions.

If on a DHCP network, might also be interesting to query DNS for the provided default domain to see if there is an additional list of reserved names (conflicts here may not be as directly user-visible, but could easily cause confusion if present).
