Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
This is with the karmic Ubuntu Desktop i386 20091027 iso.
While booting the live cd, after usplash runs, text mode is displayed for 3-4 seconds with a bunch of boot commands before the screen turns black again and Ubiquity starts up.
To top it off, there's big typo in the middle of the screen while this happens, to look even more unprofessional.
"Skipping non-exisisting file..."
Photo of screen is attached.

The typo is from apt and I'm preparing a branch with a fix.
