I copied the error into buffer, but that was prior to Plasma starting, and it wasn't there when this bug was started.

If I start ubiquity at terminal now I get

"Installed Crashed" window re-open which maybe the same (again may not be)

(again this is familiar with bugs I've noted in #ubuntu-bugs-announce & I'm still convinced is a duplicate)

This is closest I've seen thus far
- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1963697

However I never saw the Try/Install dialog; the error was the first thing that appeared on a Kubuntu/KDE background..

(my issues mentioned OEM & I've seen bug reports on #ubuntu-bugs-announce that mentioned OEM & Kubuntu)

I think https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1965746 is what I was looking for... and it was marked duplicate of the prior one I found... so ....
