Kubuntu UEFI OEM installer lacks a mouse pointer

Bug Description

The Kubuntu UEFI OEM lacks a mouse pointer. The installer runs and mostly responds to keyboard input but some of the dropdown menus do not. Thus, changing the hard drive dropdown is not possible with keyboard only input.
