Bug Description
This has happened multiple times now.
As per bug #996568, I tried `sudo apt-get remove ubiquity-
I'm on a 2010 Macbook Pro.

I can confirm that running `sudo apt-get remove ubiquity- slideshow- ubuntu` finally worked for me.
The only difference between this time and last time is that I ran it when the install screen was already launched (the initial screen, not the final one with the slideshow), which lead to a broken link page where the slideshow used to be. I also moved my cursor every 5 minutes to prevent the screen from sleeping.
Not sure if it'll work for anybody else, but it worked for me!
