Bug Description

Ubuntu 17.10

1. Launch Ubiquity.

What you see: “You can try Ubuntu without making any changes to your computer, directly from this CD.”

What you should see: The text shouldn’t suggest that you are running from an installation medium that you are definitely not using (because Ubuntu no longer fits on a CD).

I checked to see if this is still present (which it is in Groovy). I found the underlying string in the source code which turns out to be:
"You can try ${RELEASE} without making any changes to your computer,
 directly from this ${MEDIUM}."

Though I'm not sure where MEDIUM comes from or how it would be able to tell the difference between a DVD/USB-stick/other...

Would it be appropriate to change it to "You can try ${RELEASE} without making any changes to your computer, directly from this installer."

That would cover odd use cases such as virtual drives, as well as USB, external hard drives, etc.
