"_Skip" button label translation not correctly applied

Thank you for your bug report, what Ubuntu version are you testing?

As noted in the bug tags, I was testing it on Ubuntu 17.10, but the same issue is also present in Ubuntu 18.04.

The "This software is subject to license terms included with its documentation. Some is proprietary." string is still untranslated in the latest Ubuntu 18.04 Beta 2 although it is fully translated on Launchpad in my (Czech) language.

The "Skip" button is also untranslated although it is translated on Launchpad.

Is this possibly fixed now? This upload:

Yep, it's fixed. :-)
But the "Skip" button (see comment #4) is still untranslated.

I see that "Skip" is in the template, but "_Skip" is not.

May be a hint. Can you please change the bug summary to focus on the remaining issue.

Feel free to close this issue when the "_Skip" string is added. I will update the Czech translation.

The remaining problem is that you can't, right? I changed the bug summary to reflect that.

The "_Skip" string is still missing in the translation template.

Removed the bionic tag because this issue is not related only to Ubuntu 18.04 and is still not fixed in the latest nightly.

Still not fixed in 19.10.

I have just tried installing Ubuntu Focal from latest daily iso and the Skip button was correctly translated only when clicking "Try Ubuntu" on the Ubiquity main screen, then running the installer manually using a desktop icon. When I ran the installer directly using "Install Ubuntu" button, the Skip button was still untranslated for some reason.

@Asciiwolf, thanks for the feedback. The edit you did is a bit unclear to me is 'not correctly applied' or 'not correctly applied in install-only mode'? I'm unsure what's the difference/why ubiquity would behave differently from a live session than it does for an ubiqity-install

Sebastien, the translated string is not applied only in install-only mode. Not sure what causes the issue, other translated strings are showing without any problem. I checked it multiple times and it is the same every time.

Still happening on latest Ubuntu Focal daily image when in install-only mode. Not sure what could be wrong, the translatable string seems to be correct.

Still the same issue on latest Focal daily build iso.

Ubiquity on Ubuntu 21.10 has the same problem.
