installer crashed on trying to install kubuntu 16.10, right after the partitioning stage.

Looks like a coding error in the KDE frontend:

File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/frontend/kde_components/PartitionModel.py", line 67, in setData
     self.emit(
 AttributeError: 'PartitionModel' object has no attribute 'emit'
