Bug Description
The Ubuntu installer fails when the system is booted from an on-disk ISO through a Grub2 loopback, instead of the more common DVD or USB install media. The system is able to boot successfully with this approach, but the installer runs into issues. The first seems to be a failure to configure the boot CD for apt updates (there is of course no boot CD).
