Bug Description
Binary package hint: ubiquity
On the Live CD, if the screen resolution is at 640x480, the "Next" and other buttons on the installer are off the screen, and you can't move the dialog further up the screen. Please resize ubiquity to fit in 640x480.
There is nothing in the System Requirements shown when downloading Ubuntu that say you have to use at least an 800x600 display or higher.
There are a lot of complaints about not correctly detecting possible screen resolutions on Nvidia cards etc, thereby defaulting to 640x480. This would at least let people continue the installer without rebooting to Safe Graphics mode, and then fix their X settings after Ubuntu is installed.
