Bug Description

Binary package hint: tramp

Using ubuntu 7.10 gutsy gibbon tramp as of version 1:2.0.55-1 is not working with xemacs21 as of version 21.4.20-1.1.

This happens for me on emacs23 (23.1+1-4ubuntu) and it was happening
on emacs22 in Jaunty. Maybe the issue has to do with the inability to
log into a root account in Ubuntu?
