Binary package hint: trac-accountmanager
installing trac-accountmanager doesn't enable the plugin
configuration:
ubuntu 9.04
apache2-mpm-worker
libapache2-mod-wsgi
postgresql
trac
steps performed (as root):
apt-get install trac-accountmanager (version: 0.2.1~vcs200810
/etc/init.d/apache2 restart
navigate to TRAC_ROOT_
plugin doesn't show
confirmed that trac-spamfilter is shown after install using similar steps performed

Same in 9.10. From looking at the package it appears to be completely broken. It does not actually contain the plugin, it contains the _source_ for the plugin. Trac plugins are .egg files and must be built with easy_install from python-setuptools. However, the trac-accountmanager package does not contain the setup.py script that easy_install requires to build it. So the package is essentially useless.
