Bug Description
Binary package hint: totem
I am not sure whether I have to report this here or to the Gnome upstream, but I've encountered several bugs while trying to play the included "Aesop'
1: totem stops responding after pausing the track. How to reproduce:
1) Open the mentioned .spx file
2) Press "Pause"
3) totem stops responding.
This bug doesn't happen when totem's visual effects are turned off.
There is another possible scenario:
1) Open the .spx file
2) Seek somewhere using time slider
3) Now you can pause/resume without any problem, even if visual effects are on
2.a: problems with repeat mode.
1) Turn "Repeat mode" on
2) Play the .spx file
3) Use the time slider to seek the file to a new position
4) Wait until the track finishes playing and starts again from the beginning
5) Press "Pause"
6) The time slider jumps to a random position in time
7) Press "Pause" again to resume the playback
8) The time slider usually returns to its proper position, but sometimes it doesn't and keeps showing wrong position
It doesn't matter whether visual effects are on or off.
2.b: the file fails to repeat.
1) Turn "Repeat mode" on
2) Play the .spx file
3) Wait until the track finishes playing and starts again from the beginning
4) The track fails to start, instead the time slider starts rapidly jumping to random positions
This bug happens only if visual effects are turned on. If visual effects are off, bug 2.a happens instead.
