Bug Description
Binary package hint: tomboy
Source package: tomboy
Package version: 0.14.0-0ubuntu1
OS version: Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope
When I open or create a note, the note window is not wide enough to display all toolbar icons so it uses the dropdown method to show the remaining icons ("Delete" and another one). It becomes very annoying when you have to modify 50+ notes one by one.
I use the default "Human" GNOME style with the default icon and font settings, the display resolution is 1280x1024 (CRT monitor).
I found a workaround for Compiz users: with CompizConfig Settings Manager I managed to set a rule for the Window Rules plugin to resize the note window when it appears (selector: "(class=Tomboy) & type=Normal", width: 550, height: 400).
This is rather an annoyance than a "real" bug, and a perfect example for the One Hundred Paper Cuts project. :)
I booted a vanilla installation of Ubuntu 9.04 and Ubuntu 9.10 with updates. I tested both 1024x768 and 1280x1024 but I was unable to recreate the problem.
Is it possible to take a screen-shot of the problem?
