It works with a slight modification to /etc/default/timidity.
There, instead of "-Os" should be "-iA -Os".
Note that it's started as root this way, while timidity is also
functional when started as a normal user process.

In addition, this opens a virtual MIDI output which applications
can use as a MIDI output port (for machines which don't have
real hardware MIDI synths or wavetables). Ports are usually 128:x
(x=0,1,2,3), or 129:x,130:x etc. if previous ports are occupied
(can be seen with aconnect -o).

Usage example, try vkeybd --addr=128:0
