A link embedded in an email is usually clickable and "blue"

I received a link which ended with a "-" sign. Clicking on that link omits the -.
For example

http://public.bscw.de/pub/bscw.cgi/0/95196466?auth=xyzabc- the final - is not part of the link

a patch would probably be like this ... not sure how many rely on the current behaviour though.

I think that since the '-' character is a legal character for a URL, the matching code is working properly. The person who typed the link into the message should have put a space after the link and before the -. The workaround is to highlight the link and paste it into an empty location box in the browser.
