Bug Description

I think it's a bug (or small feature request), you can select both files and path in address bar but when you copy you always copy files you've selected. So if you have files selected and select path in address bar you still have files when you press CTRL+C.

I think it should remove selection from files when you select path in address bar and do the same other other way, unselect address bar if you select files.

I couldn't find any other bug or post elsewhere speaking about it...

When there is a selection done (ie: some file or directories selected), if you select some text from the location bar with the mouse, or even with keys (Ctrl-L + shift-arrows) and copy it (Ctrl-C), the selected files list will be copied in the clipboard, but not the text you lastly selected!!

The only tricks I found to get it done are:
- either to do it fully by the mouse: right_clic the location text selection and select "copy"
- either deselect your files selection by clicking in between files' icons (not possible in detailled list view btw), and then going Ctrl-L + select + Ctrl-C.

The user cannot copy and paste text from the location bar after selecting a file. I agree that this issue should be resolved. It is an important for a professional window manager that is designed to be used on Linux (i.e.; in conjunction with terminal windows, users who wish to generate documentation, etc)

Still reproducible on Thunar 1.6.3, using Ubuntu Studio 14.10.

1. Open a folder
2. Select a file
3. Press CTRL+L to select the text in the address bar
4. Press CTRL+C to copy

Expected behavior
The current path would be copied.

Actual behavior
The path of the file is copied.

This is still an issue in Thunar 1.6.10 as well and does not seem to be a duplicate here.
