Bug Description
When trying to get the "et al." suffix to the author list with the usual word "others" in the code, extra words appear in the label in brackets. Just after the year, are displayed the name, the 'and', and "others".
For exemple, instead of having:
[Nom et al. (2012)] Prénom Nom et al. : Titre. 2012.
I get:
[Nom et al. (2012)Nom et others] Prénom Nom et al. : Titre. 2012.
I don't know about .bst file programing, but I somehow managed to find the offending line, thanks to the plainnat english file. By changing it with the corresponding line of the original plainnat.bst file, I could get the correct behaviours.
The patched file is in attachment. The changes can be found at the lines 444 and 445 of this file.
Someone should try to figure out the root of the problem, because I cannot be sure that the change will not cause further bugs.
