Bug Description
When using the transparency slider, I noticed sometimes when I put it all the way to its maximum, the terminal became completely transparent. When looking into that I noticed that even though the slider moves at 0.1 intervals, it changes the value according to the mouse positioning, so when putting the slider at its maximum sometimes puts a value bigger or lower than 1 in the config file, the same value discrepancy happens at other points in the slider.

See bug 1518114 which includes a patch for the gtk3 branch (might work for the gtk2 branch too, I don't know).
