Using hide/show feature on widow spawed by Ctrl+Shift+I can result in a small empty window

Bug Description
Launch terminator
Ctrl-Shift-i to launch a new window using the same process
Press hide/show keyboard shortcut
1st window will hide/show
Close the 1st window
In 2nd window, press hide/show keyboard shortcut
A small blank window will appear
Pressing the hide/show keboard shortcut key will toggle the visibility of the blank window.
Would expect to be able to toggle the visibility of the 2nd window.
