Cannot isntall sysfsutils on artful

Bug Description

After a brand new install of artful beta 2, I cannot install sysfsutils due to postinst script issues. The script hangs during the update-rc.d command.

The hang of teh script happened while installing within a graphical session. I managed to install from within a framebuffer session i.e. a session accessed using Ctrl+Alt-F*
