cannot install i386 version of libdirectfb-1.2-9/libsysfs2

DraftSight (www.3ds.com) Ubuntu package requires libdirectfb-extra:i386 package which depends on libdirectfb-1.2-9:i386 which requires libsysfs2:i386 which is not going to be installed for some reason:

$ LANG=C sudo dpkg -i draftSight.deb
