synaptic's package properties window not updated after applying changes

lsb_release -d => Ubuntu 8.04.1
KDE 3.5.9
synaptic version 0.61ubuntu9
I have the preference "show package properties in the main window" selected.
Select a package in the "Installed files" tab of the package properties window.
After applying changes, the package properties window isn't updated.
What's worse is when the package that the package properties window is displaying information about is one of the packages just removed.

It is still an issue in lucid. You have to reselect the package in order to refresh the detail view. Marking as triaged/low
