Bug Description
Binary package hint: synaptic
lsb_release -d => Ubuntu 8.04.1
KDE 3.5.9
Use case:
Johnny wants to see packages left behind that were "Automatic removable", i.e. that were installed as dependencies of an installed package, after that package was removed.
Clicking on the Settings -> Filter menu item brings him to the "Filters" dialog.
Johnny is confused by what he sees.
There is a text box at the top left. It has no label and is empty. It's purpose is unclear.
Wishing to create a new filter, he enters the name "Automatic removable" in the text box, and clicks the "new" button. His text is replaced by "New Filter 1" and an existing filter has been renamed to "Automatic removable".

Thanks for your report.
It is a usability bug. The empty box should contains the label of the selected row and a label would not be superfluous.
