3) expected flash video content to display when visiting these websites (hulu & current)
4) no flash video display from webpage

http://swfdec.freedesktop.org/wiki/ says, "Swfdec 0.8.4 is the new stable release that supports the newer videos on various video sites, such as Youtube"

Does this play into the fix of swfdec-mozilla ?

Had the same problem with mozilla-gnash-plugin

[maybe unrelated, my GL games stopped working after the last major update]

Uninstalled by swfdec-mozilla and mozilla-gnash-plugin

Installed adobe-flashplugin and all seems well at the moment.

I still want to know if this is solved, I believe in open choices.
