Bug Description

Description
The installer restart because of an error during install ubuntu 22.04 live server daily build 27-Feb-2022 image in ESXi.

The output during installing:

    ......
    ......
    updating packages on target system
    configuring pollinate user-agent on target
    updating initramfs configuration

We expect to succeed to finish installing but hit issue. Please check attached screenshot files.

Can you post the error report that is generated? It is not impossible for the install to run out of disk or memory at this point but I can't tell from what you have posted.

Trying more install testing with newest daily build 4/Mar/2022 image, I can't reproduce this issue every time. I am asking vmware developer for further investigation. Thanks.

According to vmware dev's analysis, it's due to an out of memory error.

Trying six times, I did not hit this issue after change the default 1G memory to 2G.
