Bug Description

Binary package hint: speech-dispatcher

I got this crash on reboot.

Previously I enabled accessibility but had to disable it because it makes the desktop going crazy (100% CPU and unusable)

Jean-Baptiste, thanks for your bugreport. Could you please attach 2 log files from your ~/.speech-dispatcher/log directory: speech-dispatcher.log and espeak.log? They can contain the text that was spoken to you which could contain private information, but if you are OK sending the files, it could help debugging the issue.

If any of the above instructions are not clear, let me know, I will be happy to help.

speech-dispatcher.log
espeak.log is empty (0 byte)

And also the content of festival.log from the time of the crash:
$ cat festival.log
festival_client: connect to server failed

The debug/ subdirectory is empty.

Let me know if you need more information.

The reason of abort is NULL pointer passed as pa_simple to pa_simple_write. I reported it upstream: https://its.freebsoft.org/its/issues/6773
