Hello
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I don't understand which package doesn't work for you. I mean, are you talking about gnome-sound- recorder or simply sound-recorder? I suppose that you encountered this problem while using gnome-sound- recorder because sound-recorder doesn't allow you to set the 'CD Quality, Lossless' audio profile otherwise gnome-sound- recorder provides this option.
Would you please specify:
1. which steps you took that caused you to encounter the problem
2. the behavior you expected, and
3. the behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible).
Thanks!
