Bug Description
Binary package hint: solarwolf
Using Ubuntu Gutsy current to the repositories (Dec. 9, 2007). My screen resolution is 1280x1024. Running solarwolf for the first time starts it in fullscreen mode (800x600). Unfortunately, this squashes the gnome panel icons together (equivalent to if I had resized my screen to 800x600) such that when I leave the game, I have to manually correct them.
It would be far preferable for SolarWolf to start in windowed mode and then give the user the option to change it to full screen, rather than the other way around.

While Solarwolf 1.5-2 in Ubuntu 10.04 did go into fullscreen when I started it. It did not cause any resolution problems when I quit.
