Why doesn't software center give (visual) feedback when you install a second application?

Bug Description

Ubuntu Software Center version 5.1.14.1, Ubuntu Precise

1. Install an application in Software Center: a progression bar is visible in the software list
2. Meanwhile install a second application (by clicking on install in the same software list): no (visual) feedback is given! No text: 'waiting to install' or another hint that it's queued.

That's confusing and it makes me click again on 'install' (to get some feedback, or to ensure I didn't 'click wrong').

Feature request: a visual hint that the application is queued for installation.
