Bug Description

The "For Purchase" software does not seem to contain any vendor information or links to their website.

Apparently this is because the developer portal does not include a field for entering the product's Web site, i.e. the "Homepage:" field for the package. USC automatically presents "Homepage:" as a link or button when it is present.

Specifying the website at least would be really nice, but that is a packaging issue. Maybe the Application Review Board should be a bit more strict about the control files before accepting apps into the For Purchase apps section.

As far as I know, there's nothing technically preventing commercial applications from having links to their Web sites in USC, like packages do that are provided by Ubuntu. I'm investigating.

Apparently the system for submitting a commercial application is missing a field to specify the vendor's Web site URL (i.e. "Homepage" field in the control file). Therefore I'm moving this to the developer portal project.

The client will also need to add support for this, there is currently no "Homepage" field.
Ideally we should take the opportunity and ensure that everything in "AppDetails" will also look automatically on the
coresponding XapianValue. I.e.
def website(self):
    if self._pkg: return self._pkg.website
   elif self._doc: return self._doc.get_value(XapianValues.WEBSITE)

but the elif._doc.get_value(XapianValues.WEBSITE) should be auto-generated from the functioname.

Plus the agent parser should also automatically put the names into the DB if there is a coresponding XapianValue withtout the need to manually define that mapping. A nice cleanup opportunity.
