Ubuntu Software Center can't load

When trying to execute the ubuntu-software-center on Xubuntu 14.04.3, the application gets stuck in the loading faze and then terminates itself. Tried multiple times to open the app, same result. Updated and upgraded the system, nothing changes.

To Reproduce:

Update Xubuntu to 14.04.3 if it not updated already
Click ubuntu software center

Expected Result
Ubuntu software center opens with a listing of apps to install
