Bug Description

Migrating https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/913933 to current release.
I installed GnomishDark theme from http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/GnomishDark?content=147290
because I strongly prefer dark background.
I used gnome-tweak-tool to set my window and GTK theme to GnomishDark
Now Ubuntu Software Center appears with light text and a light foreground.

See the screenshot at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/software-center/+bug/913933/+attachment/2664871/+files/software-center.png

It appears to take the text foreground color from the GTK theme, but ignored the theme background color.

I first encountered and reported this in 11.04 but it is still in 13.04 (Xubuntu 13.04)
but the original bug was closed as Invalid as oneiric have reached EOL
