package sni-qt (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite shared '/etc/xdg/sni-qt.conf', which is different from other instances of package sni-qt:amd64

while trying to load skype, it referred me to try:

sudo apt-get install sni-qt

it crashed towards the end of install.

thought you might want to know.
