When running firefox from the terminal, I get:
[Parent 6541, Main Thread] WARNING: Unable to connect to ibus: Could not connect: No such file or directory: 'glib warning', file /build/firefox/parts/firefox/build/toolkit/xre/nsSigHandlers.cpp:167
This looks similar to bug #2008279. The symptoms are similar, that is, all text input to firefox is discarded or doesn't reach firefox.
I do not have the skill to pinpoint the bug, but I am happy to try any suggested experiments. |
