I started shotwell for the first time. It started to import images automaticly and after a while it crashed.

This crash is happening during import time in GStreamer code, probably due to a specific video file. It would be helpful to have a log file. Could you run Shotwell from the command line like this?

$ SHOTWELL_LOG=1 shotwell

Then attempt the import again. Does it crash again? If so, could you attach the Shotwell log file (~/.cache/shotwell/showell.log) to this ticket?

I imported again and it worked perfectly this time.
