Bug Description

Binary package hint: shotwell

If you have black drawings with transparent background, nothing is seen in full screen mode. Unfortunately, there isn't the possibility to change the full screen background color.

Please find attached a drawing with transparent background.
Maybe, it's sufficient if the user can choose the window background.

Bug persists in Ubuntu 11.10 running Shotwell 0.11.6.
Can it really be that such a fundamental glitch is still unassigned after a year?
The affected images are actually unviewable by the program. A user option to change the photo viewer background colour (as is possible for the library background) is all that is needed.
