Bug Description

Error occurring while upgrading 'shim-signed' and 'grub-efi-amd64-signed' packages
Seems related to efibootmgr who fail his task :
"grub-install : erreur : efibootmgr failed to register the boot entry: Erreur d'entrée/sortie."(i/o error, so)

This is what efibootmgr return to me, while executed separately:
"~ efibootmgr

Timeout: 10 seconds
No BootOrder is set; firmware will attempt recovery

The error before this is:

Could not prepare Boot variable: No space left on device

This is the same error message as in LP: #1776271, so marking this as a duplicate. Unfortunately, at this time we have no specific insight into the cause of these failures.
