Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-control-
In Karmic, using the 'Display' to setup the dual head monitor setting result in the virtual resolution not being set properly.
Step to reproduce:
1- Start gnome-display-
2- Enable two monitors with mirroring.
-1920x1080 + 1400x1050
3- Click OK
4- A message box ask me if I want to change the virtual screen resolution.
5- I Answer 'Yes'
6- I logout and login
7- Looking at xorg.org file the tool have set the virtual resolution to 2048 x 2048
***The value use for the virtual resolution are the maximum resolution for 3D support of my graphic card.

This is more of a workaround than a bug (so that you can switch to higher resolutions without breaking 3D acceleration).
1) Are you experiencing problems with the virtual resolution set to 2048 x 2048?
2) What graphics card are you using?
3) Can you attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log , please?
