Bug Description
Binary package hint: sauerbraten
Since karmic my version of sauerbraten has been freezing extremely often while playing sauerbraten, it's made the game almost unplayable. I have a nvidia gtx 275 with the newest kernel 31.16-generic on a x86-64 and the 190.42 binaries from nvidia installed. At first I thought it might be pulseaudio which was the culprit I libsdl-
I know the game can run well in linux on my PC. A couple months ago I decided to try gentoo out. I found an old 80 gig HD and over the course of a about month I got a fully functioning gentoo up and running, the game runs perfectly there (better than on windows 7). I'd like to get the game to run under ubuntu though. I'm not sure if this is pertinent but I found this in my syslog and in dmesg

I also get random crashes with Vivid Vervet. I ran sauerbraten through a terminal and it occasionally seg faults. Sauebraten has run flawlessly under all previous Ubuntu versions.
