Can't install samba

Expected: Share a folder through Nautilus and it's available on LAN with the correct permission settings (read/write).

What happened instead: Samba failed to install

Steps to reproduce:

Try to share a folder using Nautilus. It asks to install samba so proceed but install gets stuck. It asks if you want to install libpam-smbpass but all buttons are disabled and install can't proceed.

Alternatively, install using apt-get gives the following output.
