Bug Description
I'm building vim from sources on Ubuntu 12.10. To get all the dependencies, I do
sudo apt-get build-dep vim
This fails to install ruby-dev and ruby1.9.1-dev, despite ruby-dev being a build dependency, so my self-compiled vim has no Ruby support.
Digging deeper I see that I have ruby1.8-dev installed, and that it has 'Provides: ruby-dev' in its package metadata. This fools apt-get build-dep into not getting the real ruby-dev.
