Wi-Fi frequently disconnects and fails to connect. Also, its Bluetooth stops working until you power-cycle the computer, because it can't even reset the devce.

Bug Description

It often fails to authenticate against an access point (frequent disconnections and reconnections implied), and when Bluetooth HCI device suddenly stops working, it can't reset the device, so the only way to get it back online is power off the computer and power it back on. It's onboard an HP laptop.

I am seeing something similar in 20.04 LTS on a laptop, HP EliteBook 840 G4.

According to this post, it may be a kernel thing, and also affecting 22.04 LTS:

Bluetooth stops working suddently. power off + power on d'ont change the status. I may power on with windows 11 and come back on ubuntu and now bluetooth works fine..
