Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store

After I have bought music using the ubuntuone music store from rhythmbox I get tons of messages with the following contents:

** Message: console message: undefined @0: ReferenceError: Can't find variable: datapath

** Message: console message: undefined @0: ReferenceError: Can't find variable: datapath

I have told ubuntuone-control-center-gtk that I want my music synced to my local file system so it appears in my home folder in a hidden directory named .ubuntuone - so no harm is done. But I thought it is better to report it.

In Banshee and in both Oneiric and the current alpha of Precise this problem can be reproduced in two ways:
 - Buy music at the ubuntuone music store. As soon as you'll reach the screen the files that are being downloaded is displayed banshee crashes
 - Click on the "ubuntu one music store" button in banshee and choose "Your downloads" from the top menu.
The latter only crashes banshee if you ever bought music from ubuntu one.

Both music players show the identical behavior when new music is purchased from ubuntuone.

This behaviour seems to be caused by the absence of the Policy Kit agent. When I started '/usr/lib/policykit-1-gnome/polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1' (which apparently had died) manually the problem was solved. The store shouldn't fail silently when a Policy Kit agent is not present.
The absence of a Policy Kit agent also affects for example the Updated Manager and the Software Centre which will simply fail silently to install packages instead of explaining to the user that it can't install because there is no Policy Kit agent running.
