Bug Description

Binary package hint: revelation

When a password-containing file is open in Revelation, and the PC is suspended, the "Lock file when inactive for xx minutes" countdown is inactive.

As a result, if you suspend your PC when Revelation is open, all along your travel, anyone guessing your Ubuntu login password has immediate, full access to all your stored passwords.

I think it would be great if Revelation could lock the file whenever the session is ended, suspended, hibernated ect.

I’d like to add that Revelation is an awesome piece of software, regardless.

To expand on this, it doesnt seem to have anything to do with suspend or hibernate. The 'lock file when inactive' feature just seems to not be active at all. I have verified this for Revelation 0.4.11 on ubuntu Precise.

The thread here reports that this is a known issue and is fixed in a later version of Revelation, 0.4.3-1
