Bug Description

I installed 11.10 server 64 bit and when I start the computer it can't search for hosts because it doesn't know the address of the DNS servers. If I run ifdown -a and then ifup -a it works fine. I really don't know why you need to have resolvconf in a server installation, you don't generally move them around or have them connect to different network sources.

Thanks for the report.

This bug was fixed in version 1.63. Please install the latest resolvconf package from the Precise archive. This will work fine on 11.10.
