Bug Description
It happens relatively often that I receive a message, pick up the phone and press power just after the notification kicked in and turned the screen on.
Even if the above would be fixed by synchronizing sound and screen, this is still a valid scenario where you receive a message just as you pressed the button.
My proposal is that repowerd ignore the key press that happens within a threshold after a power change (that's not itself been caused by a power button press).
