Bug Description
Binary package hint: reportbug
lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS
Release: 10.04
reportbug:
Installed: 4.10.2ubuntu1
I ran reportbug as: reportbug -B debian (as I wanted to report a bug to the debian bts).
I selected 2(standard) and then 1 (text-oriented).
I selected online, accepted my name, provided an email address, said no to having an MTA installed and input an SMTP server and said yes to it requiring TLS. I left proxy server empty.
At this point I expected it to open a place for me to write my bug report. Instead I got the following:
"
Default preferences file written. To reconfigure, re-run reportbug with the "--
configure" option.
*** ERROR: "Ubuntu" BTS is currently unsupported. Please use "ubuntu-bug" (from
the apport package) for reporting bugs in Ubuntu. You can report bugs to Debian
by specifying 'bts debian' in your ~/.reportbugrc or by passing the -B debian
option on the commandline (see reportbug(1)).
"
Workaround: echo "bts debian" >> ~/.reportbugrc
Interesting. This doesn't happen to me.
