Bug Description

Device:
Arale r370

clean, just flashed (without wiping $HOME)

I remounted the filesystem in r/w mode and
apt-get update
apt-get install mir-demos (not sure if it's related though as it didn't pull in any dependency)
apt-get install qtdeclarative5-qtmir-plugin

At that point the system suggests

phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ sudo apt-get install qtdeclarative5-qtmir-plugin
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required:
  ubuntu-application-api3-touch
Use 'apt-get autoremove' to remove it.
The following extra packages will be installed:
  qtmir-desktop
The following packages will be REMOVED
  qtmir-android qtubuntu-android ubuntu-touch
The following NEW packages will be installed
  qtmir-desktop
The following packages will be upgraded:
  qtdeclarative5-qtmir-plugin
1 to upgrade, 1 to newly install, 3 to remove and 51 not to upgrade.
Need to get 327 kB of archives.
After this operation, 329 kB disk space will be freed.

The reason why this happens is that there's no qtmir-android with the needed version, so the system falls back to install qtmir-desktop.

dpkg: qtmir-desktop:armhf: dependency problems, but removing anyway as you requested:
 qtdeclarative5-qtmir-plugin:armhf depends on qtmir-desktop (= 0.4.8+15.04.20160705.2-0ubuntu1) | qtmir-android (= 0.4.8+15.04.20160705.2-0ubuntu1); however:
Package qtmir-desktop:armhf is to be removed.
  Package qtmir-android:armhf is not installed.

so, we understand why this happens, but we have to prevent the phone from removing qtmir-android and installing qtmir-desktop, even when qtmir-android is not available in the needed version
